If you are planning on stopping completely then simply use this device whenever you want a cigarette. Follow your daily smoking pattern, take the same breaks at work and when your at home simply use the device whenever you feel the need.

If you are planning on trying to cut down then the best method I have found is to work out when you smoke the most during the day, which I simply split it into 2 set periods - at work or at home. If you smoke the most during the working day then simply take the device with you and whenever you would normally leave the building for a cigarette break go out and use the device instead.

You can use it at anytime during the day, but it is a good idea to stick with your current smoking pattern during the early stages of cutting down.
